From buttering your living room carpet in the middle of the summer, to wheelieing through an open powder field in the dead of winter- the butter is just awesome. There is no other way to say it. As far as anyone knows, the butter has been around as long as snowboarding, and over the years ever rider has put their own spin on it. The videos above (in order from left to right) are Bryan Iguchi in 1994's "Upping the Ante," Terje Haakonsen in 1994's "TB2," Jason Brown in 1995's "Getting Some," Jussi Oksanen in 2003's "Good Times," and finally maybe the best powder butterer of all time Nicolas Muller in 2007's "For Right or Wrong." Just a little warning- after watching these you will most likely have to dig out your boots and board and press a few into the carpet so...
